Where to Find Lunaris’ Location in Palworld

Based on our experience with the game thus far, there is only one single location where you can encounter Lunaris. Namely, this boss Pal only spawns on one of the islands in the Sea Breeze Archipelago. This location can be found southwest of the Windswept Islands and directly east of Obsidian Mountain. If you need visual instructions, check out our maps below. Keep in mind that you’ll probably stumble upon a Syndicate Camp close buy. Make sure to deal with it before you continue towards Lunaris’s dungeon.

The dungeon in question is called the Sealed Realm of the Esoteric, and you will find it atop a hill in the location marked on the map above. As you are probably aware, Sealed Realms are the most powerful dungeons in the game. That’s where you will find mighty Pal such as Lunaris. When you finish your battle with Lunars, you can activate the Fast Travel point just north of the dungeon. Finally, you should know that one of the premade respawn locations is also nearby. In case you want to spawn there when you die.

How to Beat and Catch Lunaris

First things first: Lunaris is a level 32 boss. Hence, unless you’re really skilful, you should probably have a party of Pals around the same level as Lunaris. We do not recommend entering this fight below Level 28. The second thing you need to consider is its element strengths and weaknesses. Lunaris is a neutral type Pal, and her only weaknesses are Dark Pals. On the other hand, there are no Pals it is particularly strong against. Thus, a logical conclusion is to bring some of your toughest Dark Pals into this battle.

However, we’ve used Bushi (Fire) alongside some Dark Pals in this battle. That’s because this Pal increases dropped items from defeated Neutral Pals. Felbat is an excellent dark Pal that you can capture as a boss/alpha, so it will be a bit stronger and ready to take Lunaris on. The strategy is to send your Pals to fight for you. And as soon as their health drops to about 25%, summon a different Pal. Fill your party with dark-type Pals. If you have any Alpha versions, they should be your main damage dealers.

Do not forget to enhance Player Capture Power to at least Level 6 at the Statue of Power. You will need this if you want to capture Lunaris. We advise using at least a Giga Sphere. However, a Hyper Sphere is preferable. When she’s around 100-200 health, despawn your Pals, and throw your spheres at her to capture her while she’s weak. The lower her health, the better chance of capturing her.
