Bruce Springsteen Plays A Marathon Show At Metlife

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (CelebrityAccess) — The Boss proved just how he earned his title after performing a near record-breaking marathon hometown show at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on Thursday.

According to Springsteen fansite Backstreets.com, the show clocked in at 3 hours, 52 minutes, and was the longest of his shows in the US and just shy of besting his previous longest show, which saw him perform for 4 hours, 6 minutes during a show in Helsinki, Finland in the dark days of 2012.

The NJ show featured a 33-song set that concluded with an onstage marriage proposal by a fan, and a rendition of the old standby Jersey Girl.
