Warren County, PA — Authorities in both Pennsylvania and New York are searching for a homicide suspect who reportedly escaped from the Warren County jail Thursday night.
Police say 34-year-old Michael Burham is accused of killing Kayla Hodgkin, in Jamestown, New York, in early May.
According to reports, Burham is also accused of kidnapping a Pennsylvania couple while he was on the run from authorities.
Following a large manhunt, Burham was reportedly arrested in South Carolina and was extradited back to New York.
The City of Warren police department says Burham was last seen at approximately 11:20 p.m. Thursday and is believed to be wearing an orange and white jumpsuit, crocs and a denim jacket.
Authorities are advising citizens in Warren County to lock their doors and to not approach Burham if he is spotted.
If he is seen, citizens are advised to contact 911, or the Warren or Jamestown police departments.
